Regulation Z
The Federal Reserve Board wrote this regulation to implement the Truth-in-Lending Act, which is a far-reaching regulation, containing full restatement of all the requirements of the act and is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Since creation of Regulation Z all new real estate mortgage loans and assumptions of already existing mortgage loans come under the regulation’s reach.
